Review- Papa Was a Preacher

Thursday I went to a play. It was called Papa Was a Preacher. It was so funny. The play was set in the 1920s in a small town in Texas. It was a about five teenagers and their parents. They have this crazy neighbor named Miss Jones and she is always finding something that they were there doing wrong. For example,  the girls can't skateboard and Miss Jones is always taking pictures of them. The funniest part was when the boys go and defend there cotton, when they come back they sing "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again". That was the best part of the whole play. At the  end one of the boys runs away just before there parents 25th Ann. The oldest son goes to find him. The oldest son found his brother who ran away and brought him back home.

That's cool you got to go and see the play! I didn't go, but I saw a lot of pictures from one of my friends. It was fun to read your description of the play!

Maybe we could work on 'When Johnny Comes Marching Home' some time, if you like that song . . . I think I have some music for it that you could play. :)
